In collaboration with M1 Interactive, Ink Factory Studio and Protokulture, I built the augmented reality app for this interactive mural showcasing the history of the Avondale neighborhood in Chicago.

3D Scan & AR Content Simulation

To get accurate tracking, I used 8th Wall's VPS (Virtual Positioning System). This allows you to 3D scan the location you want to track to create a 1 to 1 digital representation. This 3D mesh, along with GPS data, is used to accurately update the AR content.
